§17 credit streams: consumer credit grant (worker -> host via the runtime). The worker grants bytes of new credit after consuming a chunk; the host producer never creates the next chunk without a free window. Travels as an app-level BRIDGE_MESSAGE with kind: 'rpc-stream-credit'; the runtime relays it opaque and the host client consumes it without re-emitting it as an app-level bridge message.
